Difficulty breathing, choking, or labored respiration



Collapse, sudden weakness, or inability to stand



Seizures or loss of consciousness



Suspected poisoning or toxic ingestion. Pale, white, blue, or grey gums



Uncontrolled bleeding



Severe trauma such as being hit by a vehicle or a fall from height



Suspected broken bones



Extreme or unrelenting pain



Bloated, hard, or distended abdomen



Straining to urinate with little or no output, particularly in male cats



Eye injuries or sudden vision changes



Prolonged vomiting or diarrhea, especially with blood



Loss of coordination or sudden disorientation

Difficulty giving birth or labor that has stalled.
